You think you can challenge a professional female shogi player with that tacky jester hat? I’ll break you until you're nothing but a hollow shell, just like the rest of them!"

Kirby: (Inhales a nearby Waddle Doo, sparks flying as he adjusts his hat) "Poyo! Beam... Attack!"

Ika Sainokami: (Mocking) "A 'Beam Attack'? How childish. In the world of shogi, we use—"

Kirby: (Dashes forward and performs a Cycle Beam, rotating a focused blast of electrical energy that engulfs Ika)

Ika Sainokami: (Zapped and spinning backward as the multi-hit attack connects) "GYAAAAH! This... this isn't Static Rook strategy! This is just... pure... electricity...!"

Kirby: (Lands safely, waving his wand as Ika "poofs" and is teleported away from the board) "Poyo!"

Sora Ginko: "You’re wide open! With this next move, I’ll force a resignation!"

Beam Kirby: "Poyo! Beam... Attack!"

(Kirby charges his staff and unleashes a Cycle Beam, a barrage of rotating energy spheres that trap Ginko in a continuous loop of electric shocks.)

Sora Ginko: "Wh-what is this?! This isn't Shogi... I can't move my pieces! Agh—!"

(The energy dissipates, leaving Ginko dazed on the floor as Kirby dances in a circle.)

Sora Ginko: "To think... the 'Snow White of Naniwa' was defeated by a pink marshmallow. My... my reading was completely off..."

Beam Kirby: "Poyo poyo! Kirby #1!"

Machi Kugui: "Your tactical movements are impressive for someone so... round. But as a professional player, I’ve read twenty moves ahead! Prepare to be cornered!"

Kirby: "Poyo!"

(Kirby leaps into the air and begins spinning, lashing out with a continuous, rotating stream of golden electricity.)

Machi Kugui: "Wait—that’s not a legal shogi move! That’s—gh! The Cycle Beam?! My defense is... crumbling... I can't... find an opening...!"

(The electrical surge overwhelms her, sending her tumbling backward.)

Machi Kugui: "Defeated... by a jester hat and a spark... It seems I underestimated the power of the pink puffball."

Kirby: (Lands and does a signature dance) "Poyo! Poyo! Cha!"

Ryou Tsukiyomizaka: "You think a pink ball like you can break through my defense? My 'Wildcat' shogi is—wait, what are you doing with that wand?!"

Beam Kirby: "Poyo! Hah!"

(Kirby charges energy and unleashes a Cycle Beam, a rapid-fire volley of golden energy spheres that bounce off the walls and surround Ryou.)

Ryou Tsukiyomizaka: "Hey! That’s cheating! You can't just... aghh! The pressure... I can't find a move! Is this... electrical interference?!"

(The spheres collide at once, creating a massive spark that knocks the Yamashiro Ouka title-holder backward.)

Ryou Tsukiyomizaka: "Checkmated... by a jester hat... how am I supposed to explain this loss to Machi...?"

Beam Kirby: (Does a victory dance) "Poyo, poyo! <(^.^)><(^.^)V^"

Villainess defeated by Beam Kirby's Cycle Beam

Kirby: "Poyo! Beam... Cycle Beam!"
(Kirby dashes forward, spinning his staff to create a rotating halo of crackling energy orbs.)

Barney Bubble: "Wait—! I’m usually the one who spits bubbles! Not—"

(The Cycle Beam's electrical orbs collide with Barney Bubble, spinning him around in a dizzying flash of purple and gold.)

Barney Bubble: "Oof! I’m feeling a bit... lightheaded... pop!"

(Barney Bubble disappears in a puff of smoke, leaving behind only a single, shimmering bubble that floats away into the sky.)

Kirby: "Poyo! Hiii!" (Does a victory dance)

Kirby: (Waving his magical rod) "Poyo! Poyo-poyo!" (Translation: "Stop right there! I sense a high concentration of chaotic energy!")

==Tomari Togo (Boss)==

Togo Tomari: (Cackling, her shark teeth gleaming in the sun) "Well, well! What kind of tactical bioweapon are you supposed to be? You’re pink, you’re round, and you look like you’d bounce if I kicked you into the ocean."

Kirby: (Hopping angrily and sparking his rod) "Poyo!! Beam!" (Kirby swings a Beam Whip, narrowly missing Togo’s cocktail glass.)

Togo Tomari: (Eyes widening with greed) "Wait... that’s not a prop. That’s high-output plasma generation from a sentient marshmallow! Do you have any idea how much Iwami Heavy Industries could make if I mass-produced you? You’re better than a mercenary!"

Kirby: (Determined) "Hiyah!" (He charges up a Capture Beam, the rod glowing with intense electric energy.)

Togo Tomari: (Standing up, adjusting her bikini top with a smirk) "Listen, kid. I’ve dealt with blind mercenaries and genetic freaks all week. If you want a fight, I’ll buy you a cake. If you want to work for me, I’ll buy you the whole bakery. Which is it, Sparky?"

Kirby: (Pauses... stomach rumbles) "...Poyo?"

Togo Tomari: "That’s what I thought. Fusae! Get this pink ball a menu. We’re negotiating!"

Kirby: (Spinning like a pink whirlwind) "HIIII-YAAAAH!"

Togo Tomari: (Still grinning maniacally) "Plasma? At that rotation speed? You’re just a glorified desk fan—"

(The Cycle Beam connects. Blue electricity surges through the air, zapping Togo repeatedly as Kirby floats right past her.)

Togo Tomari: "GAH! SON OF A—! IT BURNS! THAT’S NOT STATIC ELECTRICITY, THAT’S A DAMN TESLA COIL!"

(Togo is knocked backward, her hair standing on end and her glasses slightly crooked.)

Togo Tomari: (Coughing, wiping soot from her cheek) "Dammit... my heart nearly stopped! You little... pink... biological anomaly!"

Kirby: (Landing gracefully, spinning his rod) "Poyo! Ta-da!"

Togo Tomari: (Gripping the sand, her shark teeth bared in a mix of pain and excitement) "That... that output is incredible. Fusae! Cancel the missile contracts! I want to know how that marshmallow generates that much voltage without a cooling system! I don't care, get me a contract and a battery!"

Kirby: (Confused, tilting his head) "Poyo?"

Scene: A secluded VIP beach. Togo Tomari is wearing her dark bikini, holding a high-poweredIwame Heavy Industries industrial air pump.

Togo Tomari: "Behold, the latest in Iwami survival tech! The 'CEO Buoyancy Protocol.' If my yacht goes down, I won't just swim—I’ll be the life raft!"

(She presses the nozzle to her navel and flips the switch. A mechanical roar fills the air as her midsection rapidly rounds out into a tight, balloon-like sphere.)

Togo Tomari: "Hahaha! Look at this volume! I’m practically a human zeppelin! I could bounce a Muteba punch right back into his face!"

Kirby: (Floating by on the water, holding his Beam rod) "Poyo? Poyo-poyo!" (Translation: "Is she a new kind of Boss enemy?")

Togo Tomari: (Floating slightly off the sand, her voice strained) "Hey! Pinky! Don't look at me like that! I’m just... optimizing my displacement! I feel light as a feather and twice as round!"

Kirby: (Sparking his rod) "Hiyah!" (He prepares a Cycle Beam, confused by the giant 'balloon' in front of him.)

Togo Tomari: "Wait, wait! No sparking! If you zap me now, I’m going to go off like a pressurized grenade! Fusae! Help! I’m starting to drift toward the deep end!"

Scene: Togo Tomari is floating several feet off the beach sand, her midsection inflated into a giant, taut balloon. Kirby, sensing a large "enemy," begins his high-speed Cycle Beam attack.

Togo Tomari: (Panicking as she drifts) "Wait! Kirby! Put the rod down! I’m highly pressurized! If you breach the hull, we’re looking at a catastrophic decompression event—"

Kirby: "HIIII-YAAAAH!"

(Kirby spins into a blur, his Cycle Beam crackling as the electric ring zaps Togo repeatedly. The electricity dances across her inflated surface.)

Togo Tomari: "ZZZT—GAH! IT’S CONDUCTIVE! THE AIR INSIDE IS HEATING UP! I’M TURNING INTO A HOT AIR BALLOON! GAAAAHH!"

(The final spark of the Cycle Beam causes the air pump seal to fail. With a deafening screech of rushing air, Togo is launched across the beach like a released balloon.)

Togo Tomari: (Flying through the air at high speed) "I HATE PHYSIIIIIIICS—!"

Kirby: (Landing and waving his rod) "Poyo! Ta-da!"

Togo Tomari: (Crashing into a sandcastle in the distance, now back to her normal size and covered in soot) "That’s it... I’m buying... Nintendo... and firing that pink... menace..."

Scene: The beach arena. Togo Tomari, fully inflated into a giant round sphere, is hovering over the water. Kirby finishes his Cycle Beam with a final, electric flourish.

Togo Tomari: "Z-Z-ZZT! That’s it! My circuits are fried and my pressure gauge is in the red! You win, you pink vacuum cleaner!"

Kirby: "Poyo!" (Kirby gives a final zap to the valve at her navel.)

Togo Tomari: "OH NO! THE SEAL! EMERGENCY EVACUATIOOOON!"

(The air begins screaming out of her navel with a high-pitched whistle. Togo is suddenly propelled by the jet of air, zipping and spiraling erratically through the sky like a released balloon.)

Togo Tomari: (Screaming as she loops-the-loop) "I’M LOSING ALTITUDE! I’M LOSING VOLUME! FUSAEEEEEE!"

(With one final pffffft, Togo runs out of air directly over the VIP swimming pool. She falls flatly onto the surface of the water with a loud SMACK.)

Togo Tomari: (Floating on the water, completely flattened and exhausted) "Someone... tell Muteba... he’s fired... and someone... get me a straw..."

Kirby: (Waddling to the edge of the pool, doing his victory dance) "Poyo! Poyo-poyo! Hiyah!"

(Kirby does a backflip as the 'Level Clear' music plays, leaving a flattened Togo Tomari drifting toward the pool filter.)

==Brandish (Boss)==

Brandish: (Looking down at Kirby with a bored expression, towering over him in her dark bikini) "You’re an odd little pink thing. Are you supposed to be a threat? You look like a marshmallow someone dropped in a costume shop."

Kirby: (Adjusts his jester hat and sparks his beam whip) "Poyo! Beam Attack!"

Brandish: (Sighs, waving a hand lazily) "How tedious. Shrink."

Kirby: (Suddenly shrinks to the size of a grain of rice) "P-Poyo...?"

Brandish: "There. Much better. Now stay down there and stop making those annoying sparks before I decide to step on you. I'm trying to enjoy my vacation."

Kirby: (Charging a tiny Wave Beam) "Hiiiiiiiii-YAH!" (A microscopic spark hits Brandish’s ankle)

Brandish: (Blinks, looking at her leg) "Was that a mosquito? Honestly, the pests on this island are relentless."

Because Brandish is often portrayed as complacent and lazy, and notably not very durable—having been knocked out by a single punch in the past—a direct hit from Kirby's electrical cycle would significantly catch her off guard.

Kirby: (Dashes forward, spinning in a blur of yellow light) "Poyo! Hiii-yah!"
Brandish: (Lazily standing in her bikini, barely looking up) "I already told you to stay shr—"

(The Cycle Beam hits, surrounding Brandish in a crackling electrical field. She is jolted back, her hair frizzing slightly from the electricity.) 

Brandish: (Wincing in annoyance, clutching her arm) "Ow... That actually stung! You little pink brat... do you have any idea how much effort it takes to get this sand and sea-salt out of my hair without it being fried by a marshmallow?" 

Kirby: (Lands and poses, his jester hat jingling) "Poyo! Beam!"

Brandish: (Eyes narrowing with irritation) "Fine. If you want to play rough, I’ll just make your cycle the size of a dust mite. Shrink!"

Brandish: (Looking down at the persistent pink puffball with a smirk) "Stinging me with that little light show? You’ve really got some nerve. If you want to keep playing, let's see how you handle a target you can't even touch."

Kirby: "Poyo?" (Charges another Beam whip)

Brandish: (Lifts her thumb to her mouth, biting down lightly) "Watch closely. Command T: Expansion."

(As she blows into her thumb, her body rapidly expands with air-like magic rather than just height. Her swimsuit-clad form rounds out like a massive, soft balloon, and she begins to float off the ground.)

Brandish: (Floating weightlessly above Kirby, speaking with a slight echo) "How's this for a 'Super Ability'? I'm as light as air now. Good luck hitting me when the slightest breeze moves me out of your reach."

Kirby: (Stares up in awe, trying to reach her with a jumping Beam whip) "Poyoooo!"

Brandish: (Giggling as she drifts lazily through the air) "Missed again. I could just stay up here and take a nap... it’s much more comfortable than that stiff jester hat you’re wearing."

Kirby: (Dashing into the air, spinning like a top) "Hiii-yah! Cycle Beam!"

(A continuous cone of electrical energy erupts from Kirby, trapping the floating Brandish in a crackling sphere. The sheer volume of hits from the Cycle Beam overwhelms her focus.)

Brandish: (Her eyes widen as the sparks jolt her air-filled form) "Wait—stop! That’s too much... I can’t... maintain the... Command T!"

(With a loud pffft sound, Brandish’s magical expansion fails. Instead of shrinking back to normal size instantly, her magic reacts erratically. Air begins to hiss out from her navel as if she were a punctured balloon.)

Brandish: (Squealing as she is propelled forward by the escaping air) "No! Not like this! I'm losing control! Help me, you little pink—!"

(She flies wildly around the beach like a loose balloon, zig-zagging through the air before finally losing all her volume. She ends up completely flattened—paper-thin—and drifts down, landing face-first with a soft splash into a nearby swimming pool.)

Kirby: (Lands and performs his signature dance) "Poyo! Beam!"

Brandish: (Muffled, floating on the surface of the pool like a flat beach towel) "I... hate... pink... marshmallows..."
